2. Core Principle

Sideby is designed to process as little data as possible. There are no profiles, no messages, and no way to contact other users.

3. What data is processed?

To operate the app, the following technically necessary data is processed:

• an anonymous technical identifier (Firebase Authentication)
• timestamps for the start and end of a presence session
• a technical session ID

4. Purpose of processing

The data is used exclusively to provide the app and to implement presence sessions technically. There is no profiling, no tracking, and no advertising.

5. Storage and deletion

Presence sessions are time-limited and are automatically deleted after they expire (or no longer shown and then removed).

6. Service providers

Sideby uses Firebase (Google LLC) as a technical service provider for authentication and database services. Processing is carried out in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access and delete your data, where technically applicable. Since Sideby does not store profiles, these rights can usually be fulfilled immediately.
