In short

Sideby is built to minimise data: there are no profiles, no messaging, and no way to contact other users.

What is deleted automatically?

Technically, expired session data is removed via Firestore TTL, typically within 24 hours after expiration.

How to delete your data in the app

If you use Sideby, you can trigger “Delete data / Reset app” to:

• end an ongoing presence session
• clear local app data on your device
• remove the anonymous technical identifier

If you can’t access the app

Since Sideby does not store profiles and you remain anonymous, we usually cannot reliably identify a specific user. If you have questions about data deletion, please contact us at: support@sideby.eu.
